Benchmark Surveys

Quarry Surveys - including face positions, stockpile volumes, overburden stripping.
Landfill Surveys - including settlement monitoring, void space calculation, tipping volumes.
Building Surveys - including internal and external surveys to produce floor plans, elevations and elevational sections. Also measured floor plans for ratable valuations, GIA and NIA in accordance with the RICS code of measuring practice.
General Surveys - including detailed topographic surveys for boundary definition, site development and pre, interim and post earthworks for volume calculations.
Inshore Hydrographic Surveys - To determine flood risk, water table; low/high tide extents and pond capacities.
Setting Out Surveys - including pre-split quarry face positions, boundary locations, earthworks profiles and landfill cell construction.
Digitising - from hard copy plans to 2D or 3D coordinate files.
Plan Production - including importing data from e-mail or floppy disk to plotting to A0 size full colour plans.
3D Rendering - DTMs can be rendered to show topography using true coloured textures and a variety of foliage from any angle or elevation. 3D views can either be printed or copied to disk. Fly-by film can also be generated in .AVI format. Files can be forwarded to clients via CD-Rom.

Benchmark Surveys has recently upgraded most of its surveying equipment and computer hardware and software to offer clients the services outlined above faster and more accurately than ever before. Principal items of equipment include:

Data can be delivered via floppy disk or e-mail in a variety of formats, including DXF and GENIO Moss, or on paper or film hard copy up to A0 size. Plans can either be in colour or monochrome, depending on the clients' specifications.
